When I socialise I'm more aware of what the other person is thinking of my response or facial expressions instead of actually truly responding with interest and emotion. Having shallow to flat affect (both a Schizoid and Psychopathic trait) is only one of them, as it can cause someone to lack guilt, empathy and remorse, as a psychologist I was seeing once claimed.
